Shipping F.A.Q.:

"Do your shipping options include production time?"

At the moment, our shipping options do not include production time. While many of our items are ready to be shipped, some of our items are made to order and may require 2-3 days of production time before your order ships. If you're in a hurry and concerned your package won't be delivered by a certain date, please use the Contact Us form, or email us at info@hansenmediacraft.com and we'll see what we can do.

"Are your shipping times guaranteed?"

When you proceed to checkout with your order, you’ll be asked to choose a shipping speed. Once chosen, we will do our best to make sure it gets to you on time. Unfortunately, bad weather and carrier delays can happen, but if your order doesn’t get there on time or you’re not satisfied, drop us a note by using the Contact Us form, or send us an email at info@hansenmediacraft.com and we'll make it right.

"Will you ship to P.O. boxes?"

Yes! That isn't a problem.

"Will I get a tracking number? Where can I find it?"

As soon as your order ships, we’ll send you a confirmation email that includes the delivery method, estimated arrival date, and a tracking number so that you may check the progress of your package.

Product Information & Care:

"Are all of your soaps cruelty free?"

Yes. All of our soaps and body care products are cruelty free. We do not test our products on animals, and follow very strict efforts to source only ethical ingredients and soap bases.

"Are all of your soaps vegan?"

No, not all of our soaps are vegan. While we do offer a large selection of vegan friendly soaps and products, we also do have products that contain ingredients such as goat milk, buttermilk, and beeswax. Our vegan soaps and body care products will be labeled clearly as such on both the product packaging and listing information online.

"What steps are you taking to be animal friendly and environmentally sustainable?"

With regard to Palm Oil:
The palm oil in our soap is sourced from companies that are RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) compliant.

With regard to Glycerin:
The glycerin in our soap is that of vegetable origin, not derived from animal fat.

With regard to Packaging:
We only wrap our soaps in Biolefin™ Oxo-Biodegradable Polyolefin shrink film, which is both biodegradable and compostable, food grade, and acid free. We also encourage our patrons to remove the stickers and contact their nearest waste utility about sticker recycling options before discarding components. Our products housed in glass bottles or jars are never permanently marked, thus making them great reusable containers. (Artist Tip: Repurposing an empty beard oil or serum bottle as a water dropper for watercolor paint or ink is a wonderful example of how an artist might reuse a glass container!)

"With regard to safety and how to properly care for your soap or body care product:"

Test on a small area of skin before use. Discontinue use immediately if redness or irritation occurs. Avoid contact with the eyes; If contact occurs, rinse immediately with water. If pregnant, consult a doctor before use. Do not ingest soap. Keep out of reach of infants, children, and pets. Store in a dry, cool area when not in use.

General F.A.Q.:

"Do I need to create a Dark Idols account?"

Nope. You do not have to create an account to shop with Dark Idols. However, creating an account is an excellent way to keep track of your past orders and save addresses to hasten your check-out process.

"Do you offer purchasing through PayPal?"

At this time, all orders placed on the Dark Idols official website are processed through SquareSpace internal payment processors. To use PayPal, it’s recommended you purchase goods through our Etsy store. To do so, you will need to have or have access to a PayPal account. As we grow, we hope to someday be able to process transactions on the Dark Idols official website with PayPal. Hopefully soon!

"Do you make custom products?"

We do not currently offer the creation and sale of custom products to any other companies, or in the form of "custom requests" from individuals.

"Where can I buy Dark Idols merchandise offline?"

Dark Idols exhibits and vends offline at various events in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. We are also currently working to create relationships with stores in the Los Angeles (CA) and Denver (CO) areas to stock our brand. "Do you offer wholesale packages?"

Yes! If you're interested in placing a wholesale order of Dark Idols products, please use the Contact form or email info@hansenmediacraft.com for more information.

"My receipt/correspondence, or something else, says “Hansen Media & Craft L.L.C.” What is that?"

Dark Idols is a registered trade name (or DBA/"Doing Business As”) of Hansen Media & Craft L.L.C.
